Peter was not a pope and Jesus did not appoint him as such. Peter was made into the first pope by the Roman’s several hundred years after he died. Catholicism is an attempt to combine Roman mythology with Christianity. Catholicism is not Christianity.

You will not convince a liberal minded person that their thinking is off. This conviction must come from within themselves as a result of an external encounter with God. Morality is spiritual in origin and manifests itself in our nation as Christian morals and standards…period!
