Yes, I'm sure the whales and other animals being "saved" by plastic appreciate all the plastic that's getting dumped into our oceans. But sure: plastic can continue to be used for corsets, jewelry, and piano keys, not that it was ever at risk under the federal regulation.
On the taxpayer funded "UCP Propaganda hour" Smith attacked the federal policies on plastics by claiming that plastics have saved animals. Because we no longer use whalebone corsets and we don't "need" to use tortoise shells to make jewellery. So think of the animals? #abpoli
