Biosimlab helps the bioscience community build practical skills and assess competence through virtual laboratory simulations before entering the physical lab.biosimlab.appJoined June 2026
We obsess over getting the right result in the lab. But what happens after you get it? 🤔
If you can't interpret a result correctly, you can't use it correctly.
Young scientists need to do the science and understand it, including what it means.
Experience it here 👇
Behind every result is a team.
Behind every skilled scientist is the same.
Practicing together, comparing attempts, and learning from each other's errors is how instinct is built.
That's Biosimlab. Practice you can build together.

I can explain the protocol with my eyes closed. Just don't ask me to DO it with my eyes open.
Because I've never actually DONE it.
That's why there's Biosimlab. Practice it as many times as you need, before the real bench.

You’ve learnt the steps. Have you ever wondered why they work?
Keep asking. Turn your curiosity into practice with Biosimlab. The bench before the bench.

A paper shows you the result. It doesn't show you the fails, the repeats, the learning.
That part matters more.
Practice it at Biosimlab, the bench before the bench.

What if I mess up the protocol?" 😰 ➡️ "Let’s do this." 💪
Eliminate first-lab anxiety before you step foot at the bench. With Biosimlab, you can practice your steps, make mistakes safely, and master your procedures virtually.

Your first attempt doesn’t define your ability.
Keep learning, refining and practicing with Biosimlab.💡
Build your confidence before the real bench.

Knowing PCR on paper ≠ knowing PCR on the bench.
Anyone can memorize: denaturation, annealing, extension.
The real skill is knowing what to troubleshoot when it doesn't work.
That's why we built Biosimlab, your practice bench before the real bench.
Get started here: 👇
Knowing the protocol is one thing.
Running it is another.
Too many bioscience students graduate knowing the science, but rarely getting to practice it.
Biosimlab is the bench before the bench.
Practice the workflow. Build confidence. Make mistakes before they matter. 👇
There’s a moment every science student knows.
The protocol book is open.
The sample is ready.
The pipette is in your hand.
And then you pause.
You understand what the experiment is designed to achieve.
But scientific confidence is built through practice, not just knowledge. 🧵
At Biosimlab, we are working to close that gap by making practical bioscience training accessible to students, regardless of the resources available in their institution.
Because every aspiring scientist deserves the chance to prepare before stepping onto the real bench.
For many students, the challenge is limited opportunities to practise laboratory workflows, make decisions, and develop familiarity before stepping into a real lab.
This creates a gap between learning science and being ready to apply it.
Before now, there's a fallacy making round social media that Ekiti State University students were not competitive for prestigious scholarship program like Mastercard Foundation et al.
At the time, all they needed was someone who believed in their potential and was willing to invest time in their growth. Consequently, we took a chance on four EKSU graduates and dubbed it the 'EKSU Project'.
Today, we're proud to share that these students has won the MasterCard Foundation Scholars at McGill University and the University of Glasgow, respectively. Congratulations 🎊
