First flight of Southern Airways Express out of Purdue Airport. It’s the first commercial service in 20 years here. Ceremonial today. For real, with 4 flights daily to Chicago O’Hare, starting Wednesday.

Coach AJ 🎯 Mental Fitness @coachajkings

Steve Kerr played for two of the greatest NBA coaches ever in Phil Jackson and Gregg Popovich. He was asked, "What made them both so effective as coaches?" He named one characteristic, but his answer encompassed so much more. Kerr said, "They both had the same quality of, you knew they cared about you." He said, "You could feel that they loved you and they cared about you, but you were a little afraid of them. Just a little bit, but almost like you'd feel about a parent. You didn't wanna disappoint them." This quote really makes you think, because it emphasizes the need for caring relationships and standards in effective leadership. Steve emphasizes the love and care that he could feel from both coaches. Great parents, coaches, and leaders care about you. • They believe in you. • They want what's best for you. • They care more about you as a person than any result. Steve then emphasized how he didn't want to let them down because of their relationship. • They created a strong connection. • They set a standard for performance. • They embodied a standard for performance. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Leadership will always be a relationship business. - - - Follow @coachajkings for more posts like this!

This might be a hot take but maybe don’t chant DUI when your own player is accused of rape. Glass houses and all.

@C_K_3 Do we care? Maybe give sow playing time to others and save the legs for Sunday and tournament?

You know how truly special of a player Zach Edey is based on how much time opposing fan bases spend trying to minimize his accomplishments. That doesn’t happen to average players.

Lucky someone didn't get really hurt here as NW player is just pulling Zach Edey down from behind as a teammate lays at his feet.

Purdue basketball playing the villain is fun. Team stars 2 overlooked 3* guys, a Southern Illinois transfer, a 6'6" power forward who missed 2 years of basketball b/c of a knee injury and a shooting guard who looks like the kid from fallout.

Should someone mention that 9 percent of #Purdue's 46 free throw attempts came from two technical fouls called on Northwestern after the outcome was decided? And that four prior came off strategic fouls to extend the game?

@DickieV @coach_collins @NUMensBball @BoilerBall @B1GMBBall Mr. Vitale, did you watch the game. If a coach says before the game we have 15 fouls to give and their strategy was to do that. Do you still have that same opinion. If so, that is your prerogative, Purdue is lucky, coach sucks and players are sub par.

@DeeDubVW81 @PatMcAfeeShow Glad to see the the chiefs friendly refs call at least 4 holds on chiefs and oh, one on the Ravens. Never mind the no class whe the Ravens went for the legs.
