Snow drifting on PPD from CNA to Allandale. Portugal Cove Rd from Higgins to PPD not wide enough for 2 lane traffic in one direction. Clear off your vehicle (windows, lights, roof), reduce speed, be prepared for lane intrusions & Whose Lane Is It Anyway. Drive safe! #nltraffic

@hot991fm FYI, font sizes on forms is a potential accessibility concern, especially for people with vision difficulty. Too little space to fill stuff in is a possible accessibility problem for people with dexterity issues. Partly why I prefer online forms.

@ValkyrieMateria Assuming no invisible illnesses (like mental health, back issues, etc.)... then "ugh". Kinda feels lazy on their part.

Additional note: Some right turns with islands in the middle have a lot of snow in that island. Slow down so you can see; short cars can't see around it and may not be visible to others. #nltraffic

Narrow streets this morning in the metro area. Some 2-way roads are 1-way in places; some 2-lanes are 1-lane. Turn from Allandale to Higgins is 1 lane. Take that turn carefully; hard to see other #nltraffic. Drive safe!

Most side roads in St. John's are snow covered and slippery. Almost all roads seem to be too narrow compared to normal use, including busy roads like Allandale. Take your time, clear off the vehicle, increase your follow distance. Stay safe #nltraffic

@CityofStJohns FYI, some Android users aren't able to use the 311 app. Samsung Galaxy S10; the Play Store notes it's not available for that device. Not sure if the device is too old or too new; was looking at it on a friend's phone. Phone had latest updates.

Line painting at the intersection of Price Philip Drive and Allandale Road; looks like multiple lane closures. Proceed with caution. #nltraffic

Example: Someone in downtown who works at St. Clare's, Burger King, Farmers Market has to take a loss of pay because they can't get through. Or an urgent / non-emergent trip to the Janeway? Last year, local traffic was denied access.

@CityofStJohns @Mount_Pearl @townofparadise In case of urgent need, how does one cross the barricades for @Tely10NL ? People in downtown, for example, can't get to St. Clare's without driving Pitts / ORR.

NL Power on Higgins at Allendale; right turn lane coming onto Higgins is closed right after the turn / before the first parking lot. Careful turning onto Higgins this morning, left or right. #nltraffic

Allegedly, all @TimHortons debit/credit machines are down in #yyt. Is that actually true?

No debit or rewards at @TimHortons Portugal Cove Rd /Higgins Line. While I like the electronic rollup-rims, this is one of the shortcomings.

@kristinaennis @Miss_vick_ I just checked Outlook on an iPhone. Looks like you go through the three dots at the bottom of your new email (see screenshots). I'm personally more of a fan of sending when ready. I don't want to get a bunch of emails at once at 8pm, right when I'm trying to slow down 😅

@kristinaennis Hope you're doing alright. ADHDer here, late diagnosis, body can't keep up with me anymore. Reach out to someone if you ever need to chat. @LifewiseNL (was CHANNAL) is a great resource; anonymous phone line for mental health peer support.

Also, some roads, turning lanes, etc. aren't fully cleared. PPD in front of Confed and Allendale by the bridge (for instance) are too narrow for 2 lanes of traffic in one direction, and that turn almost has too much of a plow cut for a small car. #nltraffic

Roads are snow covered and slippery; drifts may be in your driveway. Give extra time to clear the snow/ice from the car and take it easy on the roads this morning. #nltraffic

@RingCentralCare How do I open a ticket about problems opening a ticket? Not sure if part of the problem is that my entire message might be going through the URL instead of the POST body...?
