Botanicas gardeners snapped these beautiful moorhens this morning - The chicks swim hours after hatching & fight with their feet, kicking rivals like little feathered ninjas - there are numerous reports of moorhens eggs glowing an eerie red colour under moonlight.

Here at Botanica, our gardeners love to see earthworms doing their job improving the soil. In 2016, a monsterous sized 4ft earthworm surfaced in cheshire after a rainstorm - pale. blind, writhing. I wonder how long this chap had been working in the soil & at what depths?
