Some of y'all are just mean, and you love to fight. You can't help yourselves. You pot stir, and accuse, and name-call, and call to the carpet, and tell "harsh truths" and it's just ugly. And boring. You've got to be the most uninteresting person ever to find that enjoyable.

For #DayOfTheHomeschooledChild rather than wear something green now I thought I'd share a photo from Christmas my 18th year (2000), on the way to the Douglas Wilson (cult leader) attended "ball" our cult was hosting. No one wanted to dance with me and I cried myself to sleep.

People give wide blanketed advice/instruction and then later say "I'm only talking abt normal, healthy, safe, marriages/bodies (fill in the blank). Guess what. Healthy (fill in the blank) don't need your advice. People who are hurting are the ones looking for advice... 1/

🧵Rightly dividing scripture should give you discernment on why a woman like this should be avoided. Beyond that…if you read any material from The Pearls (whom Lori obsessively promotes) red flags should be flashing in your brain. They teach abusive discipline of children.

@HarmonizedGrace We are both happy, content, and I didn't emasculate my husband to do it, nor did he have to treat me like a puppy or a child. We are both grown folk who can work TOGETHER and bless each other in Him.

@HarmonizedGrace And just so you know, I was once as you were. It wasn't until I quit being a doormat that my marriage bloomed & became what the Lord intended it to be. Both of us accountable to each other and the Lord, because I am in HIS life to make HIM better too. It will be 40 years in Aug.

@HarmonizedGrace I'm not ignoring God's commandment. I am objecting to the legalistic twisting of them that has destroyed so many homes and lives. I'm 64 years old and I have had many years to see this all play out. I've seen the fruit and it's rotten.

@HarmonizedGrace I'm judgy and rude? Hannah, I have watched a lot of you younger women come on twitter and be judgy and rude to so many hurting women whom Jesus loves. I have seen the impact on lives -and on children-of these teachings when twisted-and I have seen the beauty when done right.
