Toxic schools don't change because they have no incentive to. They're not held accountable for staff wellbeing. It's the reason we started chalkscore.com . We want to find the best schools to work in and apply gentle pressure to the rest. Please have a look and RT

Students shouldn't be the only reason teacher loves their job, Administrators, you should be one of the reasons too! Create a school culture where teachers want to be there! You're the thermostat that sets the cultural "climate".

Principal Donna Connely once had all her teachers desks and filing cabinets thrown out. "It's the 21st century—you don't need desks," Connelly reportedly said. She told teachers to "Figure it out" when asked about storage. The desks were returned after complaints from parents.
