The NCAA added the First Four in 2011. There has never been a play-in game featured the 10 seeds. This year BOTH games are for the 10 seeds.

This was mentioned on @UnnecRoughness but it needs to be mentioned again. CU and CSU were the last winless teams in college football in 2022. Less than a year later and both ESPN and Fox pregame shows will be in Boulder for the Showdown. Crazy how quickly things have changed.

It sucks so bad that this will be the last year of the Pac-12. There are so many fun teams right now. Can’t wait for conference play to get started. Enjoy it while we can. Larry Scott should be deported for what he did to that conference. Damn shame.

There are no guarantees in recruiting, especially with so much player movement in the modern era. But what CSU is building right now feels significant in a way we haven’t seen in years. Exciting stuff happening in Fort Collins under Jay Norvell.
