Hot take: CarPlay sucks, I turned it off to just use normal Bluetooth and my trucks nav and everything is much more fluid.

I took my materials to a local upholstery shop and got absolutely bullied by an old Italian lady.. in a good way I suppose. She had very strong opinions about my idea for the construction of the mat. With her input, Mesa Mat prototype #1 is in production.

My mind drifting, when I look into an empty office across the hall. The lights are off, but glowing on the back wall of the office, directly in my line sight, is a calendar. This months image? A coyote. It’s a sign I wonder.

I have been trying anting to use a coyote as a logo or “mascot” for a company or product for a bit. I was thinking about it on my way into work today how it could fit in with Mesa Mat. Then, I go to a meeting for work and I’m sitting at a conference table…

Once I do get my hands on my first prototype I plan to run a 30 day challenge working out on the Mesa Mat daily and posting those videos of each session.

I want to get content out for the Mesa Mat, but, I need my prototype first.. I should film the sewing process. Which will narrow my choices of upholstery stores to those who will allow me to film.

An idea from Alex Hormozi: if you’re going to do cold outreach, do it to obtain affiliates rather than simply customers. You can sell product to those affiliates who will then sell on your behalf. Good idea.

Fill out a simple form choose a 5- minute block no answer my phone and be happy to talk. I think it could be interesting. Worst case I meet some cool people and practice my communication skills. They will do the same. Thoughts?

It’s obvious that an email this is a very valuable asset. Every piece of content we consume lately is offering some sort of free value and exchange for your contact information now I’m not opposed to this personally because most of free content is worth it. But..

Paper gains are not gains. Your equity will probably go to zero. Pull out that cash and put it in your personal checking account asap

@thejustinwelsh For the past few years, I’ve said yes to the stable job and the promotions I didn’t want. It’s an easy cycle to fall into because it feels like progress, at least for a moment. But lately, I’ve realized how dangerous that trap can be. I’m ready for change. Ready to choose myself.

A simple life hack: Make decisions that the status quo would call unreasonable. Leave stable jobs you hate. Say no to that promotion you don't want. Walk away from money that comes with strings attached. Great lives are built on unreasonable choices, not common ones.

if you keep building from tension, even with a good business, you quietly reinforce a life where peace is always conditional. but when you start building from clarity, flow, calm nervous system, long-term trust, you're no longer just scaling revenue. you're scaling the state from which everything else grows. that state compounds faster than strategy ever will. trust and surrender more.

This isn’t a book about fame. It’s a book about freedom and owning your work, your choices, and your future. Every serious artist should read it before signing anything.

The moment you release your first song, you’re in the music business. The problem is, no one tells you how to survive in it. That’s why I wrote this book.
