Nobody tells you how hard it is to get your first SaaS customer. You spend weeks building something you're proud of. You finally launch, share the link, and wait. A few likes. Maybe some encouraging comments. But nobody pulls out their wallet. That's when you realise building the product was only half the job. Getting people to trust it enough to pay? That's a different skill entirely.

One thing I’ve learned about building SaaS products: Writing code is rarely the hardest part. You can build a beautiful app, add AI features, and use the latest tech stack. But if nobody needs what you’ve built, none of that matters. Solve a real problem first. The code comes second.

Building a SaaS is one thing. Getting people to actually pay for it is a different game. You can have a great product, clean UI, and solid AI features, but if nobody knows it exists, none of that matters. Sometimes the hardest part of being a developer isn't writing code. It's convincing someone that what you've built is worth paying for. What's harder for you: building the product or getting your first 100 customers?
