@LincolnRestler I have lived off Court St my entire life and since the redesign I have seen motorized vehicles riding against traffic flow in the bike lane and cars parking in the middle of the crosswalk because the pedestrian island is not delineated. —When will @NYC_DOT finish the paint?

@TheStalwart For a time people felt like they had to be justified. Like why didn’t they just text? Similar to why didn’t they just google it? That’s why you get the signal deadzone plot device. Now we are on the other end, casual FaceTime calls that no one is questioning.

@likaluca Like any multimillion dollar movie that’s already gone into production, all that’s left now is to pour more money into it, and spend more on advertising costs than the production itself, and just sell, sell, sell, and hope you can make it back on ticket sales the day of.

@likaluca @ydavey Al Gore has the established thought in people’s mind but also enough distance from the current circus to feel fresh. Like we are going back to the good times but also getting serious about climate change. They could pull it off. But they won’t. Instead they’ll pour money into ads

@jshgdmn @JohnMattiace @NYCSanitation I am happy with the recent efforts by DSNY to tighten up their services and also do swift corrections when mistakes are made. Thank you guys and girls I appreciate it. Keep it going!

@jshgdmn @JohnMattiace @NYCSanitation My paper recycling wasn’t picked up. I called 311 knowing the rule that you have to wait 24 hours after the pickup window to file (please change that) but I was surprised when within 1 day after I called back, it was picked up, and a signed DSNY confirmation was taped to my door.

@joerussotweets Or are they so corrupt they charged him to hide how corrupt they are? A double bluff. Very clever.

@joerussotweets This will always be an issue at the intersection of art and commerce. Filmmaking on grand scale requires money and return on investment. That’s why Emily Blunt is cast and will continue to be cast, she is a known quantity with a track record.

@bfcarlson @michael_brodeur Yes it was ridiculous, but nothing puts that in perspective like reading “…posted on X (formerly Twitter)…”

@symboliclo85913 @LincolnRestler @NYCParks “Rich people from Manhattan” Other people drive cars too. I’m done with this interaction. Peace out ✌️

@symboliclo85913 @LincolnRestler @NYCParks What? You’re so mean and aggressive for no reason. The rich areas have old trees that fall down and die. They do not get replaced. Their existing canopy will die off as it already is doing. The poor areas are getting new crops of plantings and will look perfect in 10 years.

@symboliclo85913 @LincolnRestler @NYCParks My point is that it’s an international area. Not a “rich” area. The people visiting the park come from Everywhere. It’s literally at the base is two bridges, the entrance of Brooklyn.

@symboliclo85913 @LincolnRestler @NYCParks Underserved neighborhoods are now prioritized for new street tree plantings. They’re getting them first. Many parks are being renovated and built. We can also fix broken things in public areas of rich neighborhoods too. It’s a public park that people travel to from all areas.
