@D_WhitepaperGuy @PicturesFoIder I don't know how to tell you this. You have about the same number of bacterial cells as human cells. Just clean your headphones and call it a day.

@bradswail @LoewyLawFirm One subway line in NYC is estimated to move 50,000 people per hour. A freeway lane is estimated to carry 2,000 people per hour. Public transit costs less overall, and carries more people.

@ThisIsTexasFF @bwaltens Preserve Texas history and fly the Texas flag only! Except that part where it was land the U.S. stole from Mexico! And the part where it was land that Mexico stole from Spain! And also the part where it was land Spain stole from native peoples!

@MTA Can bicyclists get some of these enforcement cameras for the constantly obstructed bike lanes? 👀

@KenPaxtonTX This isn't justice – it's party corruption. The GOP has no ethical ground to stand on. They prove willingness to permit any level of abuse and anti-constitutional behavior for the purpose of maintaining a chokehold on power. No amount of tweet-deleting changes that truth.

@jttarleton @HellGateNY I fell in love with the bay while volunteering with Hofstra each summer, documenting terrapin population health. The birds and wildflowers in the refuge were second to none, alongside the spectacle of crab mating. Such a respite from city chaos and a reminder of greater systems.

@PantherMike182 And here you are, posting a video of someone's deceased loved one online for millions to see. And to what end? Not to direct aid but to shame others in an unfathomable survival situation, for Twitter fame. If humanity is what you seek, look inward first.

Wow, reset lasted three posts. I only remain here now to watch this once fascinating platform implode, and to seek comedic validation from YIMBY accounts. [Yellowstone NP, Sept 2020]

@6puma @AoDespair That happened to me in NOLA. $75 for going 25mph in a 50ft-long 20mph zone, at 5pm, with a hidden sign and two blocks from the actual school. There's a reason that program has been in and out of court.

@carey_davies Come check out the Sierras or Rockies in the U.S. in June, August, or September, where we have a huge amount of recovered or untouched wilderness – as in, without the roaming livestock one finds in Europe. You'll be wondering if maybe a lack of accessible healthcare is worth it.

@chelseahandler The comments indicate that many people can't conceptualize love and purpose also existing outside the family unit or offspring – that's unfortunate. But they also live in a country that does nothing to support the full-time job of parenting. I'd be angry, too.

@trivial_james @FuckCarsReddit The Pearl is an absolutely excellent mixed use, community focused space. A true treasure! Would love to see a few more options for affordability there, but at least the public events and markets still bring in all demographics.

@Horn2005VY @trivial_james @FuckCarsReddit Many famous public spaces in the U.S. are privately owned by developers or trusts – they are incentivized through write-offs and increased value. Sadly in the US this is the effective way to create investment in good public space.. but they *are* legally defined as public access.

@SfTonic @MXMacroTheory @unusual_whales Texas has its own version of "woke" (being a manipulated term)... it's called Christian Nationalism, and it's very dangerous.
