"How did I know you ran a 4:30 mile in high school? That's easy. Everyone ran a 4:30 mile in high school.”

@kairyssdal Have you written about your time as a FSO? Would be interested in learning about your experience there. Last summer I researched joining, the requirements, & took the practice exam just to see what it’s like. Didn’t proceed from there, but the idea remains in the back of my mind

@ddritzenhein Thinking of you, buddy, and remembering the fun times and miles shared at the last track trials in Eugene. You are loved by many and I hope you feel it

@SamSonOfRobin @JohnMarkell @realmattduffy Made many great memories there. We like to think the Fish is to TFTC what the Duck is to WVTC, in some ways. Good story, thx for sharing

The person to whom I am married walked into the kitchen this afternoon wanting a snack and after checking what’s in the fridge and cupboards she made the choice to fix herself a snack of turnips

I was fortunate enough to be in the B heat that night, so we were warming up & doing strides on the backstretch as sub-27 happened. It was the most amazing sporting experience I’ve witnessed in person. But once it was over I had to race 25 laps on the track so that wasn’t great.

Today is the 10-year anniversary of @ChrisSolinsky breaking the American record in the 10,000 meters in 26:59 – the first non-African under 27 minutes. Recently sat down to talk to him about that race and his whole career in retrospect. apple.co/2YmWMMX

The local yarn shop has a recurring Friday meet-up to share knitting projects, progress, & fix mistakes or get help from each other. Given the #shelterinplace they can’t meet in person for a while, so we’re using Zoom instead. "It's so nice to see you, Judith. Oh hi, Kathy!" 🙌

My mom taught me how to knit over the holidays and I'm working on my first sweater. I'm using thread that's made from recycled blue jeans, which I thought was pretty neat.
