The real fix for blocked crossings is bigger than an app: bridges, underpasses, better timing. Some are already underway. Until then, Crossbuck is our small part. Part of the solution, not the solution.

We test Crossbuck against real detours people described in public reports. The Houston ambulance that hit the same train three times taught us the way around has to cross the blocked line. Not everything works yet, and we'll share what doesn't.

We read more than 18,000 comments people filed with the FRA about blocked railroad crossings. What drivers asked for: know before you leave, how long it'll last, whether the next crossing is blocked too, and a real way around. That's what we're building for. What did we miss?
