Feel utterly defeated to be honest.

Trying to sort out wedding cake and flowers is a nightmare. Every taster I’ve tried I don’t like, considering prices start at about £250 you’d think I’d find at least one I like and flowers 🙄 why do I have to be allergic to nearly every plant but all fake ones look SO fake

I thought PE was for fitness. Why waste time waiting in line for a shot at a ball you’ll probably miss and why not put students through an hour of actual physical workout. Still encourages competition but actually works on fitness and leaves games for those who want to play them.

PE being made a core subject 4-5x a week. Yeah you wouldn’t have been seeing me for 4-5 hours a week then. Alright for those that like it - but what about those who both don’t care for / are bad at / don’t want to be good at sport

Not to mention I still look around 5 months pregnant now as my stomach muscles are shot to pieces. Wow🥵

Remembering how on my pregnancy with Isaac I didn’t really show until about 24-25 weeks. Could easily have been said to be bloat. With Jacob, I showed at 10 weeks. THE DAMAGE.

Just have to remind myself of this sometimes when I feel swamped in mum life, that while I may be tired, I’m truly the happiest and most ‘alive’ I’ve ever been, just have to take a step back and be thankful 🥰

I’m very lucky in the fact that there is no one I’m jealous of or would switch places with. No amount of money, wealth, job, size of house etc, would I swap for what I have. Crystal of 2019 would have been hugely alarmed but 2022 version isn’t trading places at all

Who’s have thought that by 26 I’d have such a completely different life to what I envisioned but one that I am so extremely grateful for

Women who drank 8 ounces of pomegranate juice daily had infants with improved brain microstructural organization and functional brain connectivity as well as better visual development compared to infants whose mothers drank a matched calorie placebo drink. sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/…

That alongside my DMER, PPD and absolute DISDAIN for the sensation of breastfeeding meant formula was a lifesaver. If I had another I would never bother with BF / pumping again and I have 0 guilt about that

First couldn’t latch regardless of 3 day stay aided by lactation consultants, lost far too much weight, second was allergic to lactose as well as sensitive to other factors and required 3 different types of specialised formula to find the one for him 🤷🏻‍♀️

i hope every woman in my life, who wants to, gets to experience marriage and motherhood because they wanted to. not because it was the right thing to do, or they needed a place to stay, or they ended up pregnant and felt responsible for keeping it. i want them to choose with joy.
