@ImNotJK Depends on how you define success. You work your entire life to get to some career goal you set for yourself but to what end? You’ll be 60 sitting alone in your paid off home with your investments and 401K. Have your work revolve around life, not the other way around✌🏼

@pharm_nerd My advice 1. If you’re not sure what field you want to go in I would start out in primary care to get a ton of experience and can go anywhere from there 2. never sign a contract 3. unionize if you can

office buildings are such an outdated idea. the fact that people sit in traffic and commute just to sit in the same building as everyone else on their computers is so stupid. clear out those buildings, use them as housing and incentivize working from home.

@nataliesurely I think it needs to be individualized on population density-walking on busy streets in Boston vs western Mass. Clearly a difference going for a hike vs walking in the North End on a Fri night. Also do we kno how the variants will play here. The China study cited was Jan-Feb 2020.

At this stage, the overall number of vaccines administered per capita is less important than the distribution. Vaccination of 1,000 high risk individuals could prevent the same number of deaths as vaccination of 1,000,000 low risk individuals. It really is that stark.
