If you work in advertising or email and you don’t have a very strong thesis about how your world will change radically in 2-3 years due to LLM’s, then you are in a very dangerous place. Like “Sears being late to e-commerce” dangerous.

Change Logs and Release Notes can be extremely valuable signals for VCs and potential hires. - how often do you ship? - how do you communicate customer value? - are you continually fixing? Or letting debt accumulate?

If you work remote, don’t spend money on a good webcam. Spend it on a good microphone. No one will mind if your video is blurry. Bad audio is extremely fatiguing to listen to.

I’m expecting that a lot of the same VCs who argued that letting SVB lose depositor money would cause a financial crisis, will be the same folks hand-wringing how regulation is crippling innovation in finance (guessing it starts about 18 months from now).

This is totally true. Is there a reason why VCs, who compete on “value add” don’t offer more sophisticated Treasury services to small startups? Feels like a critical, but not strategic, problem that could naturally be outsourced.

This is clever and true. What is the biggest risk of in your business? Fragility? Slow down. Wasted effort? Work smaller. Indecision (or lack of focus)? Pick a direction and execute.
