@Totally_Legit_T @not__vee Completely agreed. I've had to explain to people that I have indeed changed my stance on a thing, if they actually manage to convince me. Repeatedly. They just couldn't "take the win" if you want. But we need it to be genuine, rather than just selective.

@Lili_Chen_2005 @kryml0 Basically exactly the same points as today with AI, including the "stole from artists" part, even if that was with in-between steps of "to produce this automation tool". Honestly, I see AI the same way I see photoshop/Affinity. It's even basically just a toy without it :P

Since I've seen this discussion a lot, here's my take: If you can't draw a perfect circle free-hand, you've already been fine with the exact thing AI now does for art. I mean we had the same discussions back when the "camera obscura" or photoshop became wide-spread.

@detrans_de Das System prüft Gehorsam, nur begrenzt Kompetenz, und definitiv nicht Intellekt. Abschlüsse sind staatlich Erlassene Snobberei, geheiligt durch den Gehorsam der Schüler gegenüber dem Staat. Es gibt Grade an Dummheit, für die muß man schon studiert haben.
