I just had an endocrinologist appointment, and I cannot tell you how beneficial a GLP1 has been for me as a type 1 diabetic. My A1C is lower than it’s ever been, I’m ~96% in range, and I’ve lost 95 pounds. It’s truly been a miracle for me.

Being disabled often means you don’t get to be spontaneous. You have to plan every detail of life down to the nth degree - energy, access, pain, timing - just to be able to do anything. Survival is logistics.

It Diabetes Awareness Month, so have it be known that the amount of energy and money I have to spend to manage my diabetes makes me legitimately want to die. 🙂
