@NewsGuyGreg @WriteLikeUTalk @BigGreenPen Over and under are positions in physical space… I change that in web stories probably 20 times a day. I feel you.

@APStylebook @MadisonBiz @WiscTechCouncil @TStillWTC @PerkinsCoieLLP Even when it’s a compound modifier?

Hey @APStylebook , what’s the correct style on a numerically named storm? Mets say it’s Tropical Depression Nine because “that’s the official way” but I think it should be a numeral because it’s a sequential designation.

Resold some tickets on @Ticketmaster app because we couldn’t find a baby sitter. Sold on Sept. 3, STILL not paid. 0/10 Do not recommend.

*Florida player throws interception for a touchdown* @espn Announcer: “Well, he’s just young, a solid player, he’s still learning the position…” *Kentucky player’s shoe comes untied* “That guy obviously sucks and has failed as a player AND a person…”

Hey @espn , someone needs to remind your dudes that they’re supposed to at least pretend they’re not rooting for one team over the other @UKFootball

Today I introduced, Elliot, my 5-year-old, to @fiveironfrenzy … to quote: “I LIKE it, my feet won’t stop dancing.” Which, coincidentally, would be a pretty good album title… :D

@amadison04 @davidldalton @RowlandRIVALS As a UK grad, it’s weird to be looking forward to football season, but here we are ;)

@amadison04 @davidldalton @RowlandRIVALS You can’t help me and I can’t help you, that’s just how it is sometimes. It’s worth pointing out that this is how disagreements are supposed to work, right? I think you’re wrong and you think I am, but no one hates each other because of it.

@gregoryahall I wouldn’t call the team disappointing… with that amount of talent, any failure of theirs is property of the coaching staff.

@amadison04 @davidldalton @RowlandRIVALS Not arguing accuracy, but those still don’t “dwarf” anything. For UK, Cal’s successes are decent, while his failures have been spectacular. I never said Tubby was a great coach, but the fact remains that he was run off for less than the worst season and loss in school history.

@amadison04 @davidldalton @RowlandRIVALS Cool, OK, but if that’s your stance, it would be more persuasive if you had Cal stats that “dwarfed” Tubby’s. But they don’t exist, thus making mine a reasonable, fact-based take. The only thing of Cal’s that dwarfs Tubby is his salary.

@amadison04 @davidldalton @RowlandRIVALS Um, WAY less: Cal’s winning percentage is slightly better, but Tubby never missed an NCAA tourney, Cal has twice; Tubby never lost a 1st-round game while Cal just gave us arguably the worst loss in UK history; Tubby never had a losing season, Cal had last year.

@amadison04 @davidldalton @RowlandRIVALS No, but all of his teams made it to the NCAA tournament.
