Many things. One that stood out in recent times with a psych was in response to me saying I experience high distress from PTSD flashbacks & body memories: "Are you sure it wasn't just intrusive thoughts you made up? How do you know it's real?" ☘️

If a client is assessed for BPD/EUPD based on trauma/neglect and dissociation symptoms, please also test them for Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and/or Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD.) BPD is diagnosed in 30% to 70% of DID patients! bpded.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.11…

A lot of brave people would feel better about the holidays if there wasn't so much pressure to pretend it's the best time of the year, when for them it's their darkest. It's not a small portion. There are many, and they need to know they are not alone in feeling overwhelmed.
