I want us to consider for a moment that a taxpayer-owned Mass Effect 5 could genuinely raise billions of dollars for the Canadian government at the expense of the rest of the world.

An NDP government will nationalize BioWare and make Mass Effect 5 free for everyone

@pathogeniic this is making me think about how "helicopter" is actually helico- + pter+, like spinning wing, so it would be "HEE-lih-COH-tair". also the fact that we re-broke it up into separate new roots heli- and -copter

@pathogeniic i mean the last part is clearly wrong, the th makes a th sound, not -tuhk, but generally, yeah, seems right. the g is silent bc it's the ortho- + gnath+ -ic (right + jaw + adjectival termination)

Ppl think dark fiction has the power to "normalize" violence & abuse. Meanwhile, my govt's infested with serial sexual abusers & child rapists, who're voted in by ppl who DON'T view those crimes as deal breakers. Fiction didn't influence ppl to downplay abuse. IRL abusers did.

@pathogeniic yeah this is baby mode. jamie's allergic to basically all fruits and veggies, soy, sesame, nuts, most spices, all grains except wheat, and probably the cutlery. and he's just one person.

@pathogeniic it's probably about the proprioception of how delicate and precise you need to be to not injure the bird but like, even if you're not taking xrays every day, that's gotta be a high annual exposure, even for a designated nuclear radiation worker
