Dear Ministers, Going forward, we may need to rediscover the ministry of the CLOSED DOOR. Not every meeting needs a camera. Not every conversation needs an audience. Not every revelation needs a livestream. And perhaps the question we should begin asking is: WHO EXACTLY ARE WE LIVESTREAMING TO? Jesus ministered to multitudes, but He did not give everybody equal access. There were the 5,000. There were the 70. There were the 12. And there were the 3. Peter, James and John saw things others did not see. The Transfiguration was not livestreamed. Jairus’ daughter’s room was not opened to the crowd. Gethsemane had levels of access. Jesus could speak publicly to the multitude and then privately explain things to His disciples. Why? Because PUBLICITY IS NOT THE SAME THING AS IMPACT. Paul understood this too. When he wanted to deliver one of the most consequential pastoral addresses of his ministry, he sent for the elders of the church at Ephesus. Acts 20:17. It was targeted. It was relational. It was weighty. The risen Lord had messages specifically addressed to the seven churches in Asia. Revelation 2–3. Paul wrote Timothy to Timothy. Luke wrote Theophilus to Theophilus. Scripture itself teaches us that sometimes the audience is part of the message. Our generation must therefore resist the strange assumption that if something happened and the internet did not see it, somehow it did not happen. Some meetings should have no cameras. Some conversations should have no clips. Some instructions should remain within the room. Some sacred moments should never become content. Because in our desperation to trend, we may unwittingly have turned pearls into content and then complained when people who were never the intended audience mishandled them. Jesus warned: “Do not...cast your pearls before swine.” Matthew 7:6. The problem is not always the pearl. Sometimes the problem is the audience. And algorithms do not discern audiences. They distribute. Perhaps the next great move of God will require ministers secure enough to have powerful meetings that nobody online knows happened. No livestream. No clips. No viral moments. No pressure to prove that something happened. Just God. His people. His Word. His presence. His instructions. And the fruit will eventually speak. We will have serious meetings again. We will close some doors again. We will recover sacred spaces again. And we will do valiantly. Enough said.

This week, I received two separate messages from two highly respected, senior ministers. These weren’t casual comments. These were seasoned generals—men whose ministries span decades of global impact—reaching out, unprompted, to say: “We’ve been following your teachings and writings for years.” Years!!!??? They never liked. They never commented. They never shared. But they were reading. They were listening. They were watching. And the Holy Spirit whispered something strong in that moment—something not just for me, but for every digital voice, every faithful kingdom messenger online: . Refuse the king’s portion. Digitally. Just like Daniel in Babylon, you must refuse the seductive menu of the digital age—the one that tempts you to measure your worth by likes, your anointing by shares, and your assignment by reach. In today’s world, the king’s menu isn’t physical food—it’s validation by metrics. It whispers, “If they didn’t react, maybe you missed it.” It lies, “If it didn’t trend, maybe it didn’t matter.” But hear me: Clicks are not the same as calling. Now—there is nothing wrong with trending. There is nothing wrong with likes, shares, or going viral. Celebrate it when it happens. Use the reach for good. But never let it get into your head. Never let it define your worth, your voice, or your message. In fact, most of the voices I listen to and deeply respect today are not popular. They have fewer likes. They rarely trend. But they carry weight. They are not driven by numbers—they are governed by the Spirit. And their words cut deeper than many with larger platforms. Some of the people who are being deeply impacted by your posts will never comment, never share, and never publicly acknowledge it. But they are watching. They are receiving. They are taking notes. Some are building messages from your materials. Some are drawing strength in silence. Some are elders. Some are gatekeepers. And some don’t want you to know how much they depend on your oil. Which is why you must not confuse quiet timelines with wasted efforts. You are not posting for applause. You are planting seeds of obedience. Let me go a step further: In recent times, I’ve met people—kingdom connections, divine relationships—who found me through one post. One video. One sentence. And the moment they saw it, there was a witness in their spirit. Not because the post had thousands of likes, but because it carried weight. You see, your assignment is not about being seen by many—it's about being seen by the right ones. Your impact isn’t found in many clicks. It’s found in the right ones. And often, those right clicks are few… but mighty. This is why the Holy Spirit is sounding the alarm: Do not measure your reach by reactions. Do not define your value by virality. Do not withhold your Word because your last post was met with silence. Let me root this in Scripture. The Lord drew my attention to 2 Samuel 5:2: “Even while Saul was king, it was you who led Israel in and out. And the Lord said to you, ‘You will shepherd my people Israel, and you will become their ruler.’” Read that again. Saul had the throne. Saul had the visibility. Saul had the spotlight. But David had the history. David had the trust. David had the weight. While Saul reigned, David led. Quietly. Faithfully. Without applause. And when the time came, the elders—those who had been watching from the shadows—stepped forward and said: “It was you. They’re watching. They may never comment. They may never repost. But they see you. Heaven sees you. Don’t delay your obedience waiting for likes. Don’t hold back your voice because it didn’t trend. You’re not just posting—you’re prophesying. You’re not just creating—you’re contending. You’re not just visible—you’re significant. So keep writing. Keep posting. Keep speaking. Even if it’s one line, one clip, one moment. It might be the one that shifts a life forever. Let the world chase trends. You—chase obedience.

You can't shepherd Christs sheep online. You can teach on line but you can't pastor on line. Despite being able to write letters, Paul left each city with leaders, elders and in many instances in homes. Pastoring is done ONLY physically and onsite. Believers living off online ministers are homeless and scavenging. Get into an assembly. A pastor and leaders who see you, know you, recognize you Not via whatapp or Facebook inbox. Personally I believe people should never publicly prophesy who would win an election. Even if God showed you, keep it to yourself or a few people around you and don’t publicly announce it. It’s like going to meet a lady and telling her God told you she’s your wife. Even if God told you, don’t try to manipulate her will. Publicly prophesying who would win an election is trying to manipulate the voters. Many times our egos get in the way and we want to sound like we heard from God and that we are the anointed “prophet” or anointed “man of God” who sees the future before it happens. Such things open us up to deception. The fact is that imperfection characterizes men. The best of men of God, at their best are still men. Ministers should be held accountable for such prophecies as they cause untold havoc to the course of Christ. Can God reveal the future? Certainly. But this is an area I believe requires utmost care, caution and maturity. The purpose of the gift of prophecy or the word of wisdom is not to reveal who will win a football match or an electoral race. Gifts of the Spirit are to magnify Jesus, win the lost, confirm the preaching and teaching of God’s Word and bless the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:1-11).
