@jonfavs WE (the LGBTQ+) have shifted the other way, though.

@RealVinnieJames @harris_wins That's not how polls work. In a poll, a sample is surveyed and data is extrapolated from that sample. The whole point of a poll is to get an idea about a population that's too wide to survey directly. Also, it's not necessary to sign posts. Your handle is included. 🙂

@neiltyson Climate change and evolution are hoaxes! Just theories! Like Newton's law of universal gravitation! Product of mass divided by square of distance? Ha! It's my RIGHT to fall downwards if I WANT to! 🙃😛 (Now, about that cliff…)

@rayadverb Wait, Dave, are you telling us just not that most chiropractors DON'T travel though time? (This tweet is from a certified Alert Reader, by the way.)

@shazzie555 @thewebbie @CynthiaNixon @BarnardCollege @Columbia She hasn't been in Sex and the City for decades. She's in The Gilded Age now, and it's wonderful. She and Christine Baransky play sisters in 1880s New York as written by Julian Fellowes. She also ran for governor of New York state.

@duolingo This may sound like a strange request, but could you think of developing a course on Lojban? There are no really smooth ways of learning it and it's a fascinating language. You have courses for other constructed languages already.

@TaraBull808 Um… Don't you realize that cancer is not an infectious disease? There's no vaccine for broken legs, for broken hearts, for head lice, or for bad grammar either. Vaccines are not magic. We do however have PrEP. And why is there no vaccine for plane crashes?

@Travis_in_Flint "Don't listen to the media and the dems." Classic sowing division on the pretext of bringing people together. Conservative or not, wherever wrote this is doing their best to stir trouble. And "I don't hate you" is a justification for something, not an embrace.

@3000_chess @Hoosiers1986 @manita41176347 @JohnCleese When and where did she say that? Have you ever heard Hillary speak? It does not sound like her at all. "Dumb as a brick" is how Ivanka Trump was described by Steve Bannon in his book "Fire and Fury." Not exactly a Hillary-like personality.

@kanyonpk @manita41176347 @Hoosiers1986 The proof is in your belief. Believe as strong as you can. Faith will make it true to you. This does not work for the lowly educated. You are blessed.

@ericlacasse @LegalEagle Why can't you make two API calls from the same page? You can even delay the call for the password until after the call for the username gets a response. A simple async/await would do that.

@funder But… but… but… Republicans keep telling us that letting children near books is child abuse! And that librarians should be fired and replaced by inexperienced conservative volunteers! Who to believe?

@Jonathan_Blow @hr_sasja And is the rest of Linux terrible and all of Windows amazing? This sounds like more of a pretext than a reason to me. As in, too many people have advised Unix-like alternatives and you got annoyed.

@PeteButtigieg I have a cat Sterling… Scratch that. I live with a cat, Sterling. I fear this day will come for us more and more. The more infuriating he is, the more I adore him. I absolutely understand.

@Joshstrangehill @sarah_futral My apologies. I didn't notice that @Joshstrangehill was one of the co-creators. Still, the show looks very Groening-like. "Sideshow Bob Roberts" is one of my all-time favorite Simpsons episodes. It looks mild seen from now, but it's still brilliant.

@Joshstrangehill @sarah_futral For some people, it's fun to bash already successful writers, like Sorkin or Groening. I thought that Futurama was looking pretty out of breath towards the end. But Disenchantment is always getting better. Many of its situations are both surprising and relatable.

@LegalEagle Also, can you prove you weren't there for longer? Although proving a negative is impossible and the burden would not be on you. I think I'm starting to get it.

@LegalEagle Serious question: could it not be argued that the visit was not necessary because it just added flavor and no information content? You weren't even in Florida. That would put the validity of the trip in question, right? Note: I make no claim of really understanding any of this.

@LegalEagle About the first amendment auditors, I would say that the issue does not reside with the "what," but with the "how." Any right can be abused. That does not mean that the right should not exist, nor that the abuser is virtuous.
