Relieved to see that multiple people on here have already recognized that this is clearly part of an effort to get booked at the Rivoli.

HAPPENING NOW: Two people have climbed to the top of the Empire State Building and unfurled a flag on top of its spire. The unidentified people appear to be wearing masks. ABC News' Aaron Katersky reports. abcnews.visitlink.me/2KrgPu

@TommySiegel Could not agree with this more! It’s still a fun watch but there are tons of “mystery box” shows out there. There aren’t a ton of *perfect, taken-to-the-extreme metaphor for work-life balance and corporate drudgery* shows, so I wish Severance was still one of those…

@AGoldmund Wait, this is so weird - as I'm reading this, I'm having a sense memory deja vu thing, because that sounds SO familiar, but I can't quite place it either. Good luck with your search!

@EsotericCD @JohnConnor_US This is the correct answer. I think jazz people don’t like it as much but it’s the perfect gateway for rock/pop people. Weirdly nothing else in the world (incl by Miles) sounds quite like it. Closest thing may be late period Talk Talk!

@ericdharvey Totally forgot about La Blogotheque - I was obsessed with Grizzly Bear's doowop version of Knife on the streets of Paris back when; just rewatched and was amused to see that a video that went blogrock viral looks like it was filmed with a TI-82 calculator.

@sterlewine Terrible news. I've been relying on your reviews since the dial-up days, and it's no exaggeration to say that the AMG books were instrumental in shaping my music tastes. I'll look forward to continuing to read your stuff in other venues.

@SeanFennessey @TheBigPic Really, the perfect example is Bullet Train, which popped into my mind the moment you started defining the genre.

@SeanFennessey @TheBigPic That’s fair. It lacks the glib emptiness of classic WA, but it has some of the same qualities (time-hopping twisty structure and, yes, cleverness) - it’s just made by a master craftsman.

You guy, I'm so happy for all of TJ Mack's success but, at the same time, I can't help wondering what the Studempt is up to these days! @brianjoralvarez

I have to actively remind myself that this guy is not actually walking around, existing in the real world. More than the other ones with cartoonier filters, it truly feels like I could just run into him if I happened to be in the town where his internshit is taking plade.

Also, it's a hilariously (esp given the importance of the movie) short 1 hr 51 mins!

Listening to the @blankcheckpod ep on The Matrix from April 2016 and it's such a time capsule: @GriffLightning has to explain to @davidlsims that the MRA movement is "really into the red pill theory," bc there was a time when that was just fringe trivia!

Buried deep in this story is De La saying the recent photos w Prince Paul wasn't NEW material but was PP helping them decipher old material. The rumor I heard is that they had to recreate a lot of the tracks from scratch for this upcoming re-release. Hmmm...
