-1. @serenawilliams after the loss, walking in the tunnel, face glued to her cellphone. Frustrated or lack of focus? Idk, but not the best look. Can’t remember seeing any other players, men or women, on their cellphones 2 minutes after losing. #usopen

Hot take: 0. Wow! This match is 100x better than I thought it’d be after the first set 1. Serena’s medical timeout was total BS 2. Azarenka is possessed. In the zone. Idk how, but it’s impressive 3. Still not counting Serena out #USOpen #USOpen2020 #SerenaWilliams #Azarenka

I’m all for every representative having a voice, but what good is a voice if it’s always rushed, forced into a 5 minute time box with witnesses that would typically like nothing more than to run out the clock. Surely there is a better way for congress to operate. Surely.

Done watching for the day. As long as the 5 minute / committee member format persists, so will the futility of public congressional hearings. It just doesn’t work. Great for creating sound bites, terrible for accomplishing anything meaningful. #BigTechHearing

@verge @JeffBezos 2 hours in and we get our first question! Woohoo Oh, sorry we can’t answer that one.

@verge If I were @JeffBezos I’d be so pissed. For a guy obsessed with optimization, this utter waste of time must be infuriating.

@dhh I can appreciate the substance in some of the questions, but do you think anything is actually going to change as a result of the answers? The answers are sorely lacking, but how does this lead to any new, meaningful regulations?

The irony of needing to take a break because of “technical issues” during a congressional hearing with the CEOs of the 4 biggest tech companies in the country.... 🤦‍♂️ #BigTechHearing

Four extremely intelligent, billionaire CEOs coached in advance and in real time by teams of lawyers costing millions/hour. vs House representatives limited to five minutes of rapid fire questioning each. A predetermined, inevitable result. #BigTechHearing #Sigh
