Math tasks do not teach. They provide opportunities for teachers & students to learn & deepen their mathematical skills, understanding
& knowledge.
How we engage with the tasks (questions, context, environment etc.,) determines the qualitity & depth of the teaching & learning.

Our school admin started Workshop Wednesdays. Teachers who have a skill, lesson, etc to share is given a sub for the day, and teaches the other teachers all day during their preps. It's nice to see that admin believe in their staff and value their skills. #hacklearning
