@Jonathan_Blow That right there is has been one of the reasons why I sometimes work 80 hour weeks, just so it doesnt fall in someone's hands who is not able to do the same, and costing me double.

@Aron_Ra I prefer Mastodon. Would love to follow you there too, so I get even less reason to use this stupid site.

@Christopher_Odd Done and done! How likely are we to get access? Can we play it on stream? Not that I'm likely to stream anytime soon.

@CharliePryor Would "revert" be a more appropriate term then, you think?

@Wertle @ChocobowlTV I quite literally learned English playing Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Paused every single dialog line and looked up every word I didn't know. I recall the first word that took me a while to figure out how to pronounce was "necklace".

@LucklessLovelck I played it for the first time last year. I was surprised by the mechanics of it. The theme is definitely supposed to appeal to younger people, but apart from that goofiness, it's surprisingly interesting game.

@openargs I bet it's cases like this that make it all worth it. Finding that one comment in a recorded conversation about an evaluation that got buried must feel exceptional.

On a recorded call, a @UHC nurse and an insurance broker laugh while discussing a patient whose claim had just been rejected. They agree that any appeal would be a waste of the family’s time and money: “We’re still gonna say no.” propub.li/3DzG5l4

@TizzyEnt @Flawlessai Dubbing is nice for kids who can't yet read. For everyone else, take the chance to learn something about a language - go with subtitles! A much better experience overall, and no deep-fake will fix that.

@openargs I'm trying to keep tabs on the Jason Harley Kloepfer case out of Murphy, NC, is that something that's on your whiteboard too? Would be nice to see if there will be legal maneuvering involved, and what the ramifications of that would be.

@gafferongames SQL injection tends to have that effect on people. Little Bobby Tables is here to help, xkcd.com/327/

@BarretBlake @TaelurAlexis Given that Bobby Tables was in school in 2007, it's reasonable to assume he's in his 20s now. Little Bobby Tables aint so little no more. XD
