According to reports, the details of the mid-air drama have emerged: the co-pilot—acting as an attacker—began stabbing the captain in an attempt to seize control of the plane and crash it, with its passengers on board, into Israeli territory. The captain resisted and activated distress signals. Flight attendants attempted to enter the cockpit, while Israeli passengers who realized what was happening forcibly broke in, subdued the co-pilot, and removed him from the cockpit. The captain, having sustained multiple stab wounds, was incapacitated. Miraculously, two Israeli pilots were on board flying back to Israel; they were the ones who landed the aircraft, which otherwise would have crashed. This is insane. Oil exports from the Persian Gulf are almost back to pre-war levels. Meanwhile, Iranian exports have literally hit zero. Blockading Iran’s blockade actually worked. Iran can’t stand this for much longer.

We all should be more selfish. The best way to improve “the world” is to forget about it and repair your own, immediate reality.

The left has an interesting problem where they’ve managed to all but eradicate racism from mainstream society but they’ve built up an entire ideology centered around fighting it, so now the demand for racism has exceeded the supply. Which leads to stuff like this

The preliminary hearing is imminent. The case is moving forward. And right now, £6,000 (just under one million ISK) in legal fees is due immediately to keep my defence alive. This is not just about me. This is a SLAPP-style attempt to bankrupt and silence a gay man who refuses to lie about sex, biology, and the safeguarding of children. Ugla’s lawsuit is designed to scare anyone who dares question the current orthodoxy. If it succeeds, it sets a precedent that critics of gender ideology can be dragged through the courts and financially ruined for telling the truth. I have no big organisation behind me. I am an ordinary Icelander relying on the goodwill of people worldwide who still believe in evidence-based safeguarding, free speech, and the right of gay men to say that men are not women and that kids need protection. £6,000 is needed now — today — to pay the next tranche of legal costs and continue the fight.
