This take on NFT is quite dystopian, but I’m not sure it’s wrong. The vision behind NFTs definitely isn’t for the purpose of building a fair and healthy society. Blockchains have many valid use cases. This one is plagued with fundamental issues that aren’t being addressed.

Set up @syncthing in @Docker on @Synology local NAS (with sync to @backblaze) to backup my @obsdmd notes. Much less painful than I initially feared. We have come a long way in term of usability, although a non-techie would probably struggle. Let me know if you want a write-up.

Blast from the past: 7 year old workflow automation web app. Digging through the code is like web programming archaeology. Basically exactly like @n8n_io. Glad someone executed on this idea properly even though I didn't manage to.

Very welcome news about Generics coming to @golang in 1.18 beta. Like the constraints model adopted and can see myself using these immediately. Addition of a native fuzz testing lib is also a nice bonus. Go try it out: go.dev/blog/go1.18bet…
