@RealMashburn4NC I'm still having doubts about item 3. We won't know what we'll get unless it's passed first? What are the exceptions? It's too vague. In concept I also don't like that it seems to shift power to the state in the same way I wouldn't want to Feds to have more power over states.
@shipwreckshow I think the Sabbath is on Saturdays.
@oldschoolJoJo I basically agree with core of salvation being the acceptable of Jesus I think I also agree with the ideas that being Orthodox isn't required, but that the fullness of the faith is experienced through it. That's just the path I'm on.
@oldschoolJoJo I'm afraid to answer that now! haha Like my brother. I also had Protestant influence from a young age, but I'm exploring Orthodoxy now. Haven't even been to an Orthodox church yet. So technically I'm whatever God classifies me as. I make no claim.
@oldschoolJoJo I was directed to this guy and found this. (Interestingly, my brother who comes from a Protestant background called Catholicism idolatry. Is everyone an idolater these days? haha)
NOAHIDE LAWS AREN’T BAD!!! Lol. Let’s look more closely. Rule 1: No idolatry. Sounds good, right? Except, a Rabbinate is required to enforce, and Rabbinic Judaism classifies Christianity as idolatry. Not Islam, though. Only Christians will be put to death under Noahide.
@oldschoolJoJo You made the initial assertion, so either back it up or not. I don't hang out where I could be beheaded and I carry a firearm just about 100% of the time. (I'm taking at least one with me.)
@oldschoolJoJo Jews are going to behead us? It is the same God, it's just that Muslims went off the tracks and Jews didn't receive the update.
@oldschoolJoJo Jews, Muslims, and Christians technically worship the same God. Muslims accept Jesus while Jews reject Him, alright neither see Him as the Sun of God. So, to your point, they might view Christians as law breakers due to Jesus. Bottom line: Why should we care what they think?
@laralogan He probably works for the government!
@bp353404 My only objection is the cat. The cat deserves to be with the family on the right.
@JesterJum There's also the observation that nicotine seemed to have a protective affect against covid somehow.
@WeaponsVault Looks safe, accurate, and durable!
@MrJfromWNC @sjd2_6 @MargoinWNC I guess I should have just said higher capacity instead of using the deliberate language of gun control advocates. They're sneaky like that. My point was, none of the limits apply to those who don't follow the law to begin with. Advantage: Criminals.
@MrJfromWNC @sjd2_6 @MargoinWNC I agree on that gun control nonsense. The general public shouldn't be limited in capacity or the ability to reload (or easily unload) while criminals using extended magazines have enough capacity to not even need to reload, and have switches which are currently illegal.
@adogwizard @MargoinWNC Going from 3.99% to 3.49% is not half. The state will need to become more efficient or find other ways to raise money. Considering the amount of waste and fraud involved in government in general, that sounds good to me. They will find ways to stop bleeding money.
Me, personally? Speech control, none at all, because words don't actually harm anyone. Vote control, it should only be for US citizens and state residents, one per person. Gun control, we have a natural right to self defense and the 2nd amendment which affirms the right to keep and BEAR arms. I might draw the line at insane or criminally violent people. Welfare or charity is a good thing for those who need it, as long as the system isn't set up to trap them in it or entice them into it. If people truly need help, it should be available to them.
Cats aren't pussies. I've seen my cats get surgery, refuse pain medication, and just walk it off.
@sjd2_6 @MrJfromWNC @MargoinWNC How do you determine who needs gun control? How do you determine who needs speech control or vote control?
