Such a privilege to have helped at the very successful Covid vaccination clinic today for people who are homeless and vulnerable. 200 + people were vaccinated with a range of other health services also available. Great team work.@ThePlymouthAll1 @livewellsw @SMMGP @PathDevon

Many thanks to @FareShareSW and @lyn_plymouth for the amazing donations of food we now receive weekly. The donation is shared between the teams that go out each night of the week. One team leader said “for the 1st time in 14 years I haven’t had to buy any extra food”.

Received about 20 tonnes of food today. We spent the day with our amazing volunteers putting together pallets for organisations to pick tomorrow and Wednesday! MASSIVE thank you to Fareshare UK and all our volunteers for making it happen!

The almost 18 tonnes of Fareshare DEFRA emergency food this week included red salmon, tuna, Irish stew, fresh oranges, pears, apples, veg, tomatoes and lots of other minimally processed high quality foods for charities to pass along to people experiencing food insecurity.

Our volunteer, Martha had never walked a dog before and here she is @MarthaPaisi being taken for a walk by Sheba, a rescue dog, adopted by one of our Soup Run customers. @plymouthsouprun have been there through the sad loss of a beloved pet to the now happy arrival of Sheba.

A busy Sunday night with 71 people served and extra meals shared between Devonport and George House. Mac and cheese was on the menu, + sandwiches, lots of fruit, soup and treats. Great to be joined by @PlymUni Islamic Society again giving out care packs. 2 referrals to @PathDevon

17 people seen street #homeless in Plymouth this week by our Rough Sleeper team. 5 have refused all offers; all others have options to come in, accommodated by a variety of services in the #PlymouthAlliance. With the temperature dropping, we're even keener no one is out.

It was a VERY wet Monday night both for the 55 people waiting for the Soup Run to arrive and for the #volunteers. On the menu was veg curry and rice, followed by bread and butter pudding. Delicious hot food for a miserable night. Many thanks to everyone for their help.
