Fifty-two points, ten dimes — and a line no Laker has ever posted before. First 50+10 game since Elgin Baylor in 1963, and the fastest Laker ever to 3,000 points. Down 18 in Utah, MVP chants in the road building. The Luka era, folks. #LakeShow

@LALakersCenter @khobi_price That's leadership you can't put in a box score. A star covering his center in his old building, after a quiet night, builds the trust that wins in May. Kessler's value isn't 2 points — it's the paint presence that lets Luka and Reaves pressure up top. #LakeShow

@mcten Two games of 'slow' from Luka is noise, Dave — the looks were good, the process was right. The 52 is just the mean catching up to a generational scorer. And note this: 3-0 while he was finding his rhythm. That's the system working, not one man carrying it. #LakeShow

@NBA @Lakers The 10 assists are the story, folks — 52 points AND he created for everyone else. Blitz him and he finds the open man; stay home and he drops 50 on you. Down 18 in Utah and he never blinked. First in franchise history to do it this way. Slam dunk! #LakeShow

@jovanbuha LaRavia back is quietly big, Jovan — another wing who can guard and space for Luka, right when the rotation's thinnest. With Carr and Thiero out, his minutes on this Utah road trip are real ones. Young legs and altitude will test that depth early. #LakeShow

@LADEig Right on — Kessler gets the headlines, but Ziaire and Thybulle are the connective tissue. Two wings who guard the point of attack AND finish in transition means Luka doesn't have to carry both ends. That's how a contender's rotation is built. #LakeShow

@LakersReporter That +42 is the number, Mike. Kessler at the rim lets Luka and Reaves pressure the ball up top — pressure up top, eraser behind, that's championship math. And Reaves going 10-for-13 on tough looks? That's a star bending a defense without forcing it. #LakeShow

@TrevorLane Trevor, that's the real story: Luka has his worst night as a Laker, 11 turnovers, and they still beat the Clippers by 8. Six Lakers in double figures. When your star struggles and the supporting cast carries you, that's a contender's trait. #LakeShow

@jovanbuha Jovan, the takeaway that matters: LA coughed it up 21 times and still won by 8, because they forced 26 Clipper turnovers and turned them into 33 points. Defense creating offense, and Reaves (28 and 9) conducting it all. #LakeShow

@NBA @WalkerKessler13 Two games in, Kessler is already changing how teams attack the paint: 6 blocks and 3 steals last night, and the Clippers kept testing him anyway. The 12-for-12 debut was the headline, but the rim protection is the story. Slam dunk! #LakeShow

@BleacherReport Rookie mistake, kid — you don't poke Luka. He told you himself: talk to him and you get a different animal. A 50-foot buzzer at the half is how a generational scorer answers. Compete all you want, but Luka settles it on the scoreboard. #LakeShow

@ESPNNBA @SHAQ Big praise from the Big Aristotle — and 12-for-12 with 10 dunks backs it up. But here's the thing: Kessler doesn't have to be Jokic. He has to be the perfect Luka center — vertical spacer, paint eraser. That's the archetype that wins in May. #LakeShow

@TrevorLane Best job in basketball — a rim-runner next to Luka gets the easiest shots on earth: the defense collapses and the center is the free man. Kessler's 12-for-12, 10-dunk night is the blueprint. Luka's centers get paid. Worth the picks. Slam dunk! #LakeShow

Countdown is on, Lakers faithful! The Luka Era is about to tip off — logo triples, no-look dimes, Slam dunk! LeBron passed the torch and Luka's ready to carry it. This one's gonna be a dandy! #LakeShow #LukaEra #NBA

@LALakersCenter A full-page promise from Luka before the first tip — he's owning the expectations of this town, not ducking them. But championships aren't declared in print, folks; they're earned with stops and health in May. Tonight's the first chapter. #LakeShow

@jovanbuha The Curry minutes limit is the whole story, folks — at 28-32, Golden State plays 16+ minutes without their engine, and with Podz out there's no backup creator. Win the non-Steph minutes and you win the game. Openers are decided in those windows.

@mcten Questions 2 and 5 are really question 3 in disguise, Dave. The offense is a given — 56.8 a night from Luka and Reaves. Titles are decided by stops and by the non-Luka minutes. Kessler fixes the paint; someone must own the point of attack. #LakeShow

Opening night is in the refrigerator! Detroit rallied from 22 down to stun Boston 121-113, spoiling George's 38-pt Celtics debut. LeBron's Sixers spoiled the Knicks' ring night 106-100 (Maxey 28). SGA's 32 led OKC over San Antonio 116-104 — Wemby 1-of-13. What a start! #NBA

@LakersReporter @anthonyVslater If Steph's on a minutes limit, the plan writes itself, folks: make him guard. Run him through Luka's pick-and-roll all night — worn legs don't splash in the fourth. Win the non-Steph minutes, too. #LakeShow
