As a former NYPD lieutenant, I’ll give you the inside scoop on these protests: Cops hate them. No one wants to work these details. You actively try to avoid the desk in order to not be notified of these. You get to the detail and usually the “Free Palestine” crowd is on one side of the street and the pro-Israel side is on the other. You then spend the next couple hours trying to stop the “Free Palestine” crowd from physically attacking the pro-Israel crowd. After that, the “Free Palestine” crowd will march and shut down traffic. Along the way, they’ll disrupt sidewalk cafes, random passersby, and anyone who they think might be Jewish. Then they’ll find a place to stop, where they’ll harass cops, take their names and shield numbers, and threaten to doxx them. They’ll even pick fights with cops and do things so the cops will be forced to move in and arrest them. That’s where they’ll film their infamous YouTube videos highlighting “police brutality.” Mind you, the cops have been actively trying to protect them the entire time, but propaganda is needed. After a 15 hour day, the cops are finally cut loose, waiting for the impending CCRB accusations. … and everyone wonders why recruitment and retainment are down.

We are days away from Yom Kippur. And now is the time to say what's on my mind about the Jewish members of Congress, especially the Senate, who have endorsed and are even campaigning for El-Sayed. And for your leader, Chuck Schumer, the highest-ranking Jewish official in the Senate, to give $10 million to the El-Sayed campaign and, before that, to support Platner in Maine despite his contemptible background (abandoning him only after he was accused of rape), is unconscionable and reprehensible. And now, they're comfortable with Mamdani, who has shown himself to be every bit the Jew-hating Islamist-Marxist many of us feared. If you had the moral clarity to speak out and condemn what is happening in your own party, perhaps the direction of the country would change. But you do not. Oh, and if you want to ask me about Tucker Carlson, please do, and I will detail the lengths to which I have condemned that lowlife when others in mass media would not. Of course, today, he is roundly despised, as he should be. And I am proud to say that Republicans have, in fact, rallied against the Jew-haters and their ilk. Yes, there are cancerous elements within our ranks, but they are pariahs. Not so in the Democrat Party. And President Trump has spoken often against Jew-hatred and has done more than any president to confront it, including with the Justice Department, Education Department, other departments, and through litigation and executive orders.

We have had respectful relationship & hopefully will continue but call to US Embassy was AFTER your vehicle was stopped. We had no advance notice of your trip. I go often into Judea/Samaria & visit Palestinians. I publicly condemn ALL violence whether Israeli to Palestinian or Palestinian to Israeli. You would have been well served to have spent time with Israelis who were held hostage or victims of terror to understand big picture but you only chose to come in secretly with an anti-Israel activist to hear one version of reality.
