Nurseries on the high street would certainly make shopping local more likely if you were there anyway for drop-off/pick-up. Our town centres need a healthy mix of retail and services. And good/free parking is key.

So sorry to see that Ffandangos in Llandaff has closed. With high Rents, Commercial rates, lack of parking, minimum wage, and massive competition from the internet giants (who pay less tax) small independent traders will be a thing of the past & High streets will cease to exist.

Glad to hear @BBCr4today debate whether the real #GenderPayGap issue is inflexibility for women at work once children arrive. I can think of plenty of examples of exactly that.
