Today's team building exercise involved running into my kitchen to fetch a spatula and being on a team called the "Buttered Bagels".

You can tell when someone actually wants to reduce abortion because they support the things that make it rare, like increased access to birth control and good sex education. If they oppose those things too, they just want to use babies as a punishment for having unauthorized sex.

Not usually a crier, but the last page of @Trungles debut graphic novel (bookshop.org/books/the-magi…) hit me right in the feels. I don't think I can recommend it highly enough; the artwork is sublime, and the story really resonated with me, for myriad reasons.

One of the circa 2013 4TB drives in our home NAS gave up the ghost and needed to be replaced today. Replacing the drive was painless. So glad I don't build my own home servers anymore, though I did learn a lot running zfs under FreeBSD back in the day...

Today was a mental health day spent riding a large motorcycle through the Santa Cruz mountains with a friend from work. We paused at Pescadero State Beach to gaze out the ocean and to recover from all the saddle time. #playinghooky #bmwr1200gsa #aerostich
