& the beautiful FailCity of austin, texas is expanding its train system and it still will NOT! go to the airport :))
Having a train that takes you directly to the airport is genuinely one of the top 10 things a city can offer. No expensive taxis, no sitting in traffic, no begging someone to drop you off. Just get on the train and arrive at the airport. Every major city should have this.

these people always miss the giant, obvious answer to this (that the project connect train line should go to the airport, prioritized over "robotaxis")
Austin isn’t equipped to be receiving the amount of people it does when there’s things like ACL and SXSW I can also see this delay being the traffic leaving and coming back to the airport for Ubers, cabs etc Robotaxis don’t yet go to airport
