When you want to sleep in on Monday morning, but drag yourself out of bed because you have to get to your job, then the train is cancelled. And you think, while wiping away a tear, I could have had another half an hour in bed. @northernfailz @northernassist

New timetable = rubbish 7.30 lostock to Manchester only 2 carriages only a few people get on, loads left on the platform! Meant to be 4 according to the guard did you lose some on the way!😡@northernassist @MayorofGM @northernfailz

Enough is enough. I met with @northernassist and accepted the apology and explanation but the Northen Rail service at the heart of Chorley is failing passengers. Its reached a critical level. I'm calling on the Transport Secretary to take control of the network.
