@SkyNews Got stranded in Paris last night after the 2 fatalities - eurostar provision (a stationary train) wasn’t wheelchair accessible. After 5 hrs on a train, and 2 hrs at the station I got sent to hotel that closed in Jan and was under construction. Then slept on a bench in staff area

@libby4000 Before I got my own wheelchair, I had a lot of great experiences with shopmobility. You can borrow mobility aids for free, they had manual & power chairs as well as scooters and loads of other aids! Maybe worth a shout if there are Edinburgh branches?
Does someone @FromPaperchase want to tell me why this piece of wall at your Waterloo station store was opened from the inside & crashed into me & my wheelchair? Some kind of staff entrance-not sure how that’s at all safe, especially after I see now that it’s also a fire exit?

Listen, not everyone's trauma gives them thick skin. Some people's trauma made them more sensitive and insecure, they cry more easily, get overwhelmed at small tings. The narrative that trauma makes you stronger is a lie. There is, power in acknowledging it and growing from it.
