Making squares with Cuisenaire rods S - mine looks like a rectangle, I used the same rod!? T - well, what do you remember about measuring a square S - you mean like perimeter, like the perimeter of a square T - yes S - (adjusted the rods) the sides are now 11, I guess that’s ok

I’m in a 3rd grade class today & Ss start each day by writing as many equations as they can for the # of the day. I remember reading something similar in @TracyZager’s book. Here T (or today, me) highlights a few that class looks at & discusses together.
