Dear @naptipnigeria @FAAN_Official Today, at Aminu Kano International Airport & I came across a situation. A Chinese national was in the company of two teenagers (not older than 13 years) & they were boarding to Lagos. To my surprise, NOBODY in the Airport seems to bother.

Today, she told me it had been fixed for free and I didn’t need to pay anything. I thanked her. Hopefully, she now knows that some Nigerians can be honourable…in the real sense of the word. 😊3/3.

Several weeks later, I got a message through WhatsApp from a lady of Indian origin, telling me her name and saying it was her car I had brushed. She had been in hospital and had just come out. We agreed that she should get a quote and I’ll just pay, rather than use insurance. 2/3

The last time I was in London, I brushed a parked car the day before I returned to Nigeria. I had shifted the rear bumper. I left a note under windscreen wiper for the owner with my Nigerian number. I didn’t hear anything for weeks and had totally forgotten about it. 1/3

Anyone who wants to “teach you" how to make money is a scammer. I went to business school and they didn't even teach us how to make money there. They mainly taught us how not to lose money. I did a course on launching new ventures at the best in the world and same thing. Safety.

Find it a bit weird that "Tech" has been conflated with "computer code." The word "tech" is short for "technology." That's it. In this part of the world, the "tech" that needs scaling is stuff like electricity, water systems and all-weather roads. Can't write code for that.
