@liamsLCjourney I understand. But it is still an important conversation to have. How much funding is needed at the current pace. In the end, this is the result of years of scientific and medical neglect. Laying that out can be powerful in itself and raise awareness towards research funding.

@liamsLCjourney According to this model, maximizing human research growth (+24%/year) and increasing funding to $1B+/year could get us to a cure by 2041, even assuming AI accelerates research by a conservative 3% annually and expert-level AI doesn’t arrive until 2045.
