Social media is full of smoke & mirrors; people inventing a life they don’t actually live. It’s becoming harder to tell who’s real & who’s fake because there are so many on the platform. Life is not meant to be a burden of always trying to impress others & put on a mask! Live!

Many people find it hard to let go of past disappointments, regrets and losses. They keep revisiting old wounds. They keep thinking of what-ifs. Honestly, what good does it do? Learn the lesson. Move on. Get your gaze up onto the horizon and embrace what the Almighty has for you!

In today’s world, we are obsessed with figures. The number of followers, the number of likes, the number of friends & so on. Dig deeper beneath those figures & there’s an important message. Do not count the number of friends you have but the number of friends you can count on!

It’s easy to judge others. It only takes seconds to form your opinion. But it takes a lifetime to understand them and build them up. It’s easy to put people down when you’ve not walked in their shoes. Be kind. Be just. Be compassionate. Always empathise.

Choose your friends wisely. It’s always easier to pull people down than to build them up. Make sure your circle of friends will do just that; moving you in the right direction. They should be building you up rather than tearing you down. If you have such friends, treasure them!

Don’t let success go to your head. Be the first to apologize for your mistakes. You’ll never learn anything or impress anyone by making excuses & shifting the blame. Treat everyone with dignity & respect. You may be successful, but that doesn’t make you better than anyone else!

Dear Grocery Manager, if someone in produce gives a customer a tomato instead of an orange, no one dies. It's not like that in the pharmacy. We need proper staffing and labor.
