“They can have [Joe] Rogan or Young,” Neil Young wrote in a letter to his manager and label, “Not both." Young demands Spotify remove his music over "false information about vaccines" rol.st/3nXPaML
@RollingStone I promise....... 50 years from now, people will still listen to Neil Young's catalog everyday. But 50 years from now people will barely remember who Joe Rogan was. Bet that
@hornsbykid @RollingStone Nobody under 50 knows (or cares) who Neil Young is.
@hornsbykid @RollingStone I hate to break it to you but very few people will be listening to him 50 years from now. How many people in the 70’s did you know listening to songs from the 20’s? 😂😂 sorry to be the one to hit you with blatant truth
@hornsbykid @RollingStone People still watch Star Trek the Motion Picture, so I suppose that’s possible. Doesn’t make it a good idea though…
@hornsbykid @RollingStone Never heard of him - tbh I thought a “Joe Rogan” was a tomato-based curry - v surprised to hear this one can talk too.
@hornsbykid @RollingStone I will bet Spotify doesn’t care. They paid $100 million for exclusive rights to the podcast and it draws millions of listeners each episode. Neil Young can’t compete with that at this point regardless of who is remembered in 50 years.
@hornsbykid @RollingStone I'm from Europe and I have no idea, who Joe Rogan is. But I know Neil Young. :)
@hornsbykid @RollingStone Who is Joe Rohan anyway?
