One thing I really like explicit return types for is creating 'typed holes' in my program. It's sometimes nice when you're prototyping to leave a function unimplemented, but typed, then pick it up later when you're ready. Lets you zoom in and out of levels of complexity. Nice.

Problem: Your dev team makes spelling mistakes in code. Solution: CSpell CSpell has a command line interface. So, run it against your entire codebase on your CI server, or via precommit/prepush hooks. Add words to the dictionary by creating cspell.json in your project root.
