My 3 year old is obsessed with bucket trucks. He points them out all the time. His pre-school teacher was like “I don’t know that he knows what bucket trucks are. He is always yelling that he saw one.” Then her glass was shattered. She now realizes they are everywhere too.

I installed Apple’s iOS 26 beta last week. It’s definitely shiny. But I’m really struggling with it. The OS is always in my face. In every task and detail the UI is the thing demanding my attention. The layered UI, the transparency all add up. A week in and I’m struggling.

Conveying complex concepts in icons is so hard. Love the exploration, concept, and feature Slack, but this icon could use some refinement. I understand the intention with the arrow/clock direction, but the hand feels broken with the visual weight of the arrow.
