maybe not everyone can bloom as a flower & maybe the world doesn't need everyone to be a flower. maybe the world needs more grass, cactus, or more eucalyptus. maybe i am meant to be a pine tree. maybe blooming beautifully is never a requirement for living. we just need to grow.

I think the root cause of a lot of relationship & friendship problems is people believing they have a right to control the choices/actions of others, like they belong to them as soon as an attachment is formed. we do not own people, they choose to be around us based on who we are

A popular myth about relationships is that as they age, the conversations stop and there is not much to talk about after a point. I completely wholeheartedly disagree because when you feel safe with someone you always have things to talk even if you have known them for decades.
