@danidonovan I hate to say it because it’s a subscription, but YNAB actually helped me immensely. Took most of the decision making out of it. And relieved a lot of anxiety.

@jailedamanda Aside from everything else, this teaser makes it look like a Days of Thunder ripoff. The way she pushes him into the wall?

@TinekeYounger01 Any advice on how to season frozen cod? Oven or pan fried. It’s so tasteless itself, somehow nothing really works.

@moorehn Nobody to carry the lived experience of « we’re NEVER doing any of that again ». But then, look at the colonial past and present of France. Not exactly righteous. And it shouldn’t take personal or familial experience to reject far right ideology, but there we are.

@moorehn Most of the people who had to live through the war (soldiers and civilians) are dead. I feel like maybe that’s a factor. In France every city, every village have plaques or monuments or stories. But the people are gone.

@rebccafergusons In my experience IMDb is hinky for unreleased stuff. Like, I’m fairly confident that Janet McTeer is in MI8, but not that Rebecca is. Maybe her name is there to maintain suspense.

Having a thread about a stone age girl going viral and having a thread about the fashion industry going viral makes me want to do a thread connecting both of these subjects to talk about one of my favorite prehistoric articles of clothing: the Lendbreen Tunic.

Kittridge mentions Ethan’s “pattern” *twice*. AI works on pattern recognition, one way of fooling it is to pretend to play into the pattern. Also, the way Ilsa smiled when Gabriel threatened her and Grace made her look like someone whose plan is working.

@allisonargented Same here after a second viewing, they left so many breadcrumbs, and I’m driving myself crazy trying to figure out which ones are on purpose. Like, what’s with all the close ups on the knives?

@charletty_ That whole thread is so nihilistic. Have the movie end on everyone being dead and Ethan's "dark side" taking over? I really don't think either Cruise or McQ are wired that way. Big emotion or tragedy, yes. Nihilism? No.

Vision Pro uses Optic ID iris scanning to authenticate your identity. Works like Face ID, but scans iris instead of face.

@lingerie_addict Yes, LA to Paris in January. It was fine, plane seemed recent and clean, in-flight entertainment worked, food was as bad as any other airline. Much better than expected for the price.
