Someone please tell me why it costs THOUSANDS of dollars to adopt a baby, making it near impossible for some families to adopt. This is why the foster care system is overwhelmed with children. The state cant pass up an opportunity to make $1. Its disgusting.

Me 3 days ago on Christmas morning- Life is finally getting good. All the pieces are falling into place. Goals are being met and dreams are coming true. Im so blessed. My car yesterday - oh we cant have that. *breaks down” $2000 at a minimum to fix it Fml 🤦🏻‍♀️

Its not even 8am and I have already extricated a horrendous dead body from probably the nastiest residence I have ever responded to in my entire career . And now I get to go home to my fiancé and kids and prepare for our family Christmas this evening. Working in EMS is wild.

I am done with tonight. *on a 911 call * i walked in the house and theres a bird cage behind the door that i didnt see initially and this big ol rainbow bird squaks out of no where right behind my head and i damn near piss myself

went to convenient care for an ear infection bp was 72/42 HR 50 and they wanted to call 911 , i said no im fine im here for ear pain NP finally actually looks at my ear and i dont have an ear infection, i have a ruptured ear drum so thats cool🙃

our system is so broken. emotional abuse is just as bad as physical abuse. why does it have to be physical, and damn near take a life, before anything will be done
